The Farfallina Giglio Silver Masquerade Mask is a wonderfully striking and feminine Venetian mask that makes the perfect centrepiece for a women’s masquerade ensemble at a high-end masked ball or masquerade party.

Handmade in Venice, the Farfallina Giglio Silver mask has been fantastically crafted using the new papier mâché press technique that presses pulped paper into a mould to create a cast. Once dried, the cast is then patiently sanded to obtain a smooth surface in preparation for decoration.

The elegant papier mâché Giglio mask, with its signature raised central structure in the shape of a star is wonderfully dressed with a sparkling crystal, whilst the remainder of the mask has been beautifully finished with a combination of acrylic paints and ornate glitter detailing that give a superbly ornate finish with plenty of sparkle.

You can choose the Farfallina Silver in either a white or black finish that perfectly complements the dominant silver colouring.

These masks are held securely in place with silk ribbon ties, but can also be ordered mounted onto a wooden stick if you’d prefer to hold the mask up to your face
