Volto Piuma Piena – Antiqued Face Gold Mask and Black Feathers Wall Mask

Moulded from resin into the signature oval shaped human face with delicate nose and closed mouth, the Volto Piuma has then been fabulously decorated with antiqued cream acrylic paints on the main body of the mask that give a cracked effect. Whilst gold leaf overlay and raised gold leaf swirls have been applied in other areas, including around the eyes to depict the Volto mask wearing a stunning gold Colombina style mask.

Edged with gold braiding that frames the face, the Volto Piuma is finished with a fabulous plume of black ostrich and peacock feathers that fans from one side of the mask to the other, featuring a small gold headdress in the centre.

If you’re planning to wear the mask, you’ll find silk ribbon ties supplied that will hold it firmly in place. However, when not being worn it can be easily hung on the wall to create a fantastically eye-catching and unusual decorative piece.
