Scaramouche Melody – Cream Long Nose Masks

If you’re looking to get fully into Venetian masquerade character for a masked ball or the Venice Carnival, then the Scaramouche Melody Mask could be the perfect accessory.

Scaramouche is a well-known stock character from the Commedia dell’Arte theatre that dates back to 16th Century Italy.

This iconic and distinctive long-nosed mask is a wonderful accompaniment to a masquerade ball costume and looks fabulously authentic when worn with a long black cape and Tricorn Hat

The Scaramouche Melody Mask is a truly magnificent masquerade mask that has been moulded from a high quality resin to create the signature long nose, which features a strip of cream acrylic paint running down the centre with gold leaf overlay and small insets of sheet music either side.

The remainder of the mask has been similarly decorated using cream acrylic paints with gold leaf overlay around the eyes with four small snippets of sheet music that sit symmetrically above and to the side of the eyes.

To finish the mask, it has been edged with gold braiding and given two silk ribbon ties on either side to secure it in place during wear.
