Handmade in Venice, this mask uses the new papier mâché press technique where paper pulp is pressed into a mould to create a plaster cast. Once dried, this cast is then sanded smooth and fabulously decorated with one plain coloured matt acrylic paint and the same coloured fine gloss glitter. To complete this wonderfully shaped mask, with its beautiful scalloped sides and central crown structure, the Vanity Plain is finished with a fantastic side plume of single coloured feathers.

You can choose the Vanity Plain in three colours – white, red or black – so you can decide whether you want an all-black or white ensemble or you fancy going for bright contrasting colours instead.

The Vanity Plain masquerade mask is secured in place with silk ribbon ties, although you can choose to hold it by ordering it mounted onto a decorated wooden stick
