Volto Pierrot – Full Face Sad Clown Mime Mask

Pierrot is a stock character of pantomime and Commedia dell’Arte who depicts a sad clown pinning for Colombina the maid servant

Hand made using the traditional papier mache technique and coated in a fine plaster resin

The face is coated in white acrylic paints with antique shadowing to give the face some features. Black acrylic paints are then used to detail the sad eyes and raised eyebrows. Red acrylics then detail the lips

Finally, black acrylics then detail Pierrots skull cap which is finished with gold braiding

Used for mime in Theatre, as part of your Halloween costume or hung on the wall as an eye catching decoration

Secured with silk ribbon ties

Traditionally worn with at the Venice Carnival with a Venetian Cape and Tricorn Hat
