Venetian Masquerade Mask with the flag of England

This stylish half-face mask has been made using the papier mâché technique where strips of paper are soaked in polyvinyl acetate, then layered onto a handmade plaster cast. The cast is then dried and carefully sanded to obtain a smooth surface and hand painted with acrylic paints to create the England Flag detailing.

To finish, the mask is then ‘aged’ to give it an antiqued and worn look and feel.

This half-face mask is supplied with silk ribbon ties that are used to secure it in place during wear, however, you can also order it attached to a stick if you’d rather hold your mask than wear it.
