Both masks have been handmade in Venice using the new papier mâché press technique, where paper pulp is pressed into a mould taken from a real person’s face. The cast is then dried and sanded smooth ready to apply the stunning decorative detailing. Using black and blue acrylic paint and the finest glitter, both masks are decorated to complement each other.

The men’s mask, which is the Tomboy Colombina style with clean cut lines is given luxurious finish in either blue and black to match the ladies mask with a bright blue sparkling crystal in the centre, or, the mans mask can be in plain black with gloss black glitter

The women’s Vanity mask, in blue and black, is given an exuberant flair with a side-plume of sumptuous black and blue feathers.

Together, the Tomboy and Vanity mask make a wonderful pair. They’re both incredibly comfortable to wear and are secured in place with silk ribbons ties.
