Pulcinella is a classic Venetian character of the Commedia Dell’Arte however, he did not become a stock character until Napoleon times

The name comes from the Italian word Pulcino which means Chick. It is believed this comes from his top heavy shape and skinny legs.

These masks are handmade using the traditional papier mache technique, with the nose being the most prominent part of the mask, long and slightly hooked, just like a bird. A great character mask which is finished in a rich maroon red brown acrylic paint

Wear with white loose fitting long baggy shirt, preferably buttoned through, together with wide legged trousers and finished with a wide buckled belt tied below the pop belly

This mask is perfect for the man wanting a Halloween mask or intends to masquerade as a Venetian character at his masked ball
