Madam Music – Silver Leafed Masks for Women

For a beautiful and stylish Venetian mask to wear to your next masquerade party or masked ball, you won’t be left disappointed with the Madam Music Silver.

This attractive half-face mask has beautifully scalloped edges that from into an iconic Giglio tiara shape in the centre of the uppermost edge. The mask itself is made using a traditional layered papier mâché technique to make a cast. Strips of dampened paper are soaked in polyvinyl acetate and delicately layered onto a handmade plaster caste mould that is then dried and carefully sanded to achieve a smooth finish ready for decoration.

Using acrylic paints, raised silver leaf detailing and snippets of musical note sheets, the Madam Music Silver achieves a fantastic finish that highlights the elegant shape of the mask with plenty of ornate detailing and feminine charm.

The Madam Music Silver comes in a choice of black or silver colouring and can be secured in place using black cloth ribbon ties. However, you can also order them to be mounted on a stick if you’d prefer to hold the mask up to your face or if you wear glasses and require a handheld mask
