Half Face Venetian Masquerade Masks – Colombina Ibiz

Whether you’re looking for an elegant and refined women’s mask or a dashing and stylish men’s mask, the Colombina Ibiz could be just what you’re after.

It’s a unisex mask that makes a fabulous centrepiece for any masquerade ensemble, with a distinctive Arlecchino pattern and silver leaf finish.

These gorgeous Venetian masks are made from papier mâché, using a technique where strips of paper that have been soaked in polyvinyl acetate are layered onto a handmade plaster cast. Once dried the papier mâché is then carefully sanded to obtain a smooth surface to apply the beautiful decoration.

Using acrylic paints, one half of the mask has been decorated with an attractive diamond pattern in silver and black, whilst the other half of the mask features ornate raised swirl detailing covered in silver leaf overlay.

The simple and classic colour combination will work with any style or colour masquerade costume.

Secured in place with silk ribbon ties attached to either side of the mask, the Colombina Ibiz is a truly stunning mask and can also be ordered mounted onto a wooden stick should you wish to hold the mask up rather than wear it.
