This beautiful mask blends a wonderfully finished papier mâché mask with absolutely stunning Filigree Metal Lace work in the shape of the Phoenix bird, which is Fenice in Italian. Available in black or white, the mask itself is handmade in Venice using a papier mâché press technique, which layers strips of either black or white paper soaked in polyvinyl acetate that are then pressed, dried and sanded to give a wonderfully smooth finish. The mask is then decorated with gloss glitter detail in black or white and finished with a signature Filigree Metal Lace work of the Phoenix, which is achieved using high-tech laser cutting technology.

The ornate and intricate detail in the finish is wonderfully complemented with Swarovski crystals and diamante and is truly breath-taking.

The mask is comfortably secured using silk ribbon ties, but can also be purchased mounted on a stick if you like the idea of being able to easily reveal your identity at a moment’s notice
