Hand made using the traditional papier mache technique and coated in a fine plaster resin

This Bauta mask is crafted with a three cornered hat

The mask is decorated with red black and gold acrylic paints finished with raised gold detail and musical notes

The tricorn hat is decorated in black acrylic paint and detailed with raised gold leaf swirls and gold leaf edging

Finally two locks of hair molded from papier mache and coated in gold leaf, hang to the sides

This mask is very light and can be worn to your masked ball

It can also be hung on the wall making an unusual decorative piece
